Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A round table was held on the role of marketplaces in the development of cross-border trade

On March 16, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation organized a round table on the theme “Pivot to the East: the role of Russian and foreign aggregators and markets in the development of cross-border trade”. The event was organized by the Commissioner to the President of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development.

China is today the world leader and the main driver of digital globalization. The implementation of China’s “One Belt – One Road” initiative provides unprecedented opportunities for the development of cross-border e-commerce, but at the same time there are a number of problems such as the lack of qualified specialists, a backlog in the development of logistics, payment risk, etc. The roundtable covered all the issues and intricacies you need to know to work successfully in cross-border trade with China.

The round table brought together as speakers the general director of the agency Blagoveda Ivanov AA, the head of the department for working with partners of OZON Klementyeva OE and adviser to the president of RAUIE in the direction of retail trade and markets Kudryashov R.Yu.
