Doctor Apletaeva announced the allowable norm of bread per day

– Published on:

Dietitian, allergist-immunologist Marina Apletaeva in an interview with the portal “Moscow 24” told how much bread is permissible to eat per day.

According to the expert, about two or three pieces of any bread can be eaten a day, provided that the person is healthy and has no contraindications. If there is excess weight, then it is better to refuse white bread from refined flour, as it contains fast carbohydrates in its composition.

“Rye bread is not recommended for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract,” the doctor said.

As for grain bread, it has practically no contraindications. It is safe to include it in the diet even with overweight and diabetes. In the same amount as it is acceptable for a healthy person: two or three pieces a day.

Its benefit also lies in the fact that it contains soluble dietary fiber and stimulates gastrointestinal motility. This is a worthy product and often its quality is not in doubt.
