Russians traded driver’s license for internet games

According to the report of specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, over the past three years in Russia the number of people wishing to pass the traffic police examination for teaching driving license drive has almost halved.

If in 2019 there were about 9.5 million such people, then at the end of 2022 – just over 4.5 million.

Decreased by twelve percent and the number of driving licenses issued to Russians who were trained in a driving school.

But there has been an increase in the popularity of video games. Citizens increasingly prefer computer racing and shooting games to real driving.
