Artur Beterbiev announced the final date of the fight with Callum Smith

WBO, WBC and IBF light heavyweight boxing champion Artur Beterbiev says after a hiatus boxing organizations have managed to agree on a date for his next fight.

“I am happy to inform everyone that you will see me in the ring again on August 19 against Callum Smith”, wrote the Russian on his social networks.

British boxer Callum Smith has been named a mandatory challenger this winter. But the fight was only agreed now.

According to reports, the fight will take place in Canada and for Beterbiev, his three championship titles will be on the line.
