The hot topic of nepotism or blasphemy in Western show business has taken a brutal turn in the case of Rob Grant. Lana Del Rey’s father recorded her 14-track debut album, Lost At Sea. Among them is “Setting Sail On A Distant Horizon”. Lana Del Rey herself, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, took part in the recording of two singles from this collection. And his colleague and creative partner Jack Antonoff became one of the producers of Lost At Sea.

Those around him had previously dubbed Grant “not a dad,” and he clearly liked the nickname. “I love it,” the 69-year-old musician told GQ magazine, noting that he first met him on social media. “I’m happy to be the first non-dad,” Rob added with a laugh. Besides, he will already take out clothes with this sentence. “Nobody wants to recognize your merits in anything. God forbid you have talent. People don’t want to see it. They will find a way to undermine your confidence and make you feel really bad about yourself,” a he already said seriously.
Rob Grant’s album goes on sale June 9.
