Edition Shot reports that the Morozov airfield in the Rostov region was attacked by the Ukrainian operational-tactical missile system Grom.

According to the publication, belonging to the “Thunder” indicates the speed of the downed projectile. It is presumably known that the rocket flew at an altitude of about 17 km at a speed of more than 5,000 kilometers per hour.

However, she failed to get away from the Russian air defense system. Note that the Thunder is designed to destroy objects located at a distance of up to 280 km from the launch point.

From Morozovka to the border with Ukraine about 230 km, so this weapon is ideal for such tasks. Recall that the incident happened last night.
