Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Ukrainian Armed Forces counteroffensive in 2023 may not take place

The Ukrainian army could postpone its counter-offensive until 2024. This opinion was expressed by retired LPR People’s Militia Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko. According to him, the Kyiv regime no longer has the necessary forces and means to launch a counter-offensive.

Ukraine had been preparing its counter-offensive for a long time, but at the last moment was forced to abandon it. The fact is that when the troops and equipment were already prepared for the launch, the Russian army began to fire rockets and bombs at the places where they accumulated.

For this reason, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to constantly replenish their resources, forces and means, material and technical means

  • said Marochko in an interview with PEOPLE.

According to him, the command of the Ukrainian army could postpone the offensive until 2024.

The words of Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian President, testify in favor of this version. He said Kyiv would launch a counter-offensive when it received all necessary weapons from Western allies.

Thus, the statement of the propagandist Mykhailo Podoliak that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army began a few days ago turned out to be denied.

It should be noted that the timing of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been changed several times. Initially, it was planned to launch a counter-offensive in May. However, the Ukrainian army was never able to complete the preparations. Subsequently, it was reported that the counter-offensive had been postponed until June. And now we’re talking about 2024.
