Hateful divorce in Hollywood – Woman squatted in a luxury palace of two billion and was accused of blackmail

– Published on:

Actor Kevin Costner is divorced. That’s what happens on the best farms, because relationships sometimes have an expiration date, just like dairy ferns, and can also turn sour if you pass that date. Usually, in such a divorce, the couple separates, one or both move out of the previously shared house, and then life goes on as usual.

However, Kevin’s wife decided not to follow such practices, even though the actor was way below him when he got married, but he made it clear in the deed that his wife, Christine Baumgartner , had to leave the actor’s property in which she was residing. no later than 30 days after the formal request for divorce.

Christine agreed to these terms of the bargain when they married nearly two decades ago, probably in the belief that she would never attempt the bargain, since couples do not usually marry with the intention of divorcing by following. It was Christine who rode the wave in early May when she filed for divorce. Her husband, despite the legal contract, decided to treat her well and offered to help her move to a new house. No thanks, Christine thought, and she’s stuck in the family home, which is understandable since the property is valued at around 20 billion on it, you can find a luxurious mansion on the beach, and probably Christine doesn’t expect to live. with such luxury after the divorce.

Want the squatter wife out

Kevin is therefore obliged to seek the help of the authorities to have Christine evicted from the property, but he believes that the wife is stubborn in trying to force him to accept her requests for divorce. Kevin says that he has already paid her what she owed according to the contract, which is around 200 million and in addition offered to get her a new house. However, Christine will have said in court that the actor would be more willing to pay her more if she sat as firmly as possible. Which doesn’t seem to come out of nowhere, because according to the documents in the file, Kevin, who is due to pay child support, will pay him 4 million a month in addition to support for a rental property, and he is ready to paying her about 1.5 million to cover shipping costs, assuming she actually ships them.

Kevin says he owns the three properties where the family kept a house during the marriage, as separate property. It was specified from the beginning and for this a contract was drawn up which Christine signed and undertook to leave the premises in the event of a divorce.

On this subject, Kevin had to say in documents submitted to the court that he had already been married and that he was in a bad situation during this divorce. He had lost his home and had to move to a new place. When he and Christine discussed marriage, he had been very clear about his position, saying he would never remarry unless it was safe for him to keep his house. Therefore, she agreed to enter into a contract where their two properties were declared their separate properties. To make it fairer for Christine, who earns significantly less than the actor, the agreement also stipulated that she would receive 14 million on their wedding day and the same amount on their first wedding anniversary. She also received 140 million after filing for divorce, as stipulated in the contract, but this money was intended to build her a new house.

The divorce must have surprised Kevin, even though he realized that his wife was not happy. He would have rather saved the relationship than divorced her, but their main point of contention had to be the length of Kevin’s absence due to work.

Obtained a restraining order against her husband

News of Christine’s squatting got a lot of attention yesterday, but now it’s been reported that things have gotten much more heinous. Christine will claim, according to the Daily Mail, that she is now homeless and had to obtain a restraining order against her husband.

Kevin counter-accuses Christine of illegally using his credit card to pay for legal fees and other things related to the divorce. She tries to get the terms of the deal revealed, but that would put him in an inherited position and give scammers and burglars ideas. It could also lead to him being publicly reviled in media coverage.

According to the restraining order, Kevin will be prohibited from taking their joint children out of the country, and he will also be prohibited from transferring money or selling property. To this, Kevin responded by demanding an exit and demanding that the terms of the deal be kept confidential. Christine holds him hostage by refusing to move and plans to use this to extort more money from him than she deserves. She certainly has legal remedies, such as having the validity of the contract tested in court, but has not taken advantage of them, even though her lawyer has indicated that she intends to examine the validity of the spousal support clause.

“It’s surprising and sadly encouraging as we both voluntarily agreed to the terms of the settlement and benefited from the advice of our personal attorneys.” I therefore hope that the court will rule as quickly as possible on the validity of the agreement so that I can continue my life and disrupt the lives of our children as little as possible.”

Kevin also offered to cover all expenses related to their children, such as school fees, school supplies, school uniforms, school trips, vacations, health insurance and medical expenses.
