Hezbollah in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced that it confronted, at dawn today, Wednesday, an Israeli infantry force that tried to infiltrate the town of Aadaysit Marjaayoun (Odaisseh) from the direction of Khallet Al-Mahfer in Lebanon.
Hezbollah confirmed, in a statement, that its fighters “clashed with the Israeli force, inflicted losses on it, and forced it to retreat.”
Al-Zajeera said, “Hezbollah says it attacked and repulsed Israeli troops who infiltrated near the town of Odaisseh in southern Lebanon, and “inflicted losses and forced them to retreat”.
Hezbollah announced, in two separate statements today, that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the Shomera barracks with a Salvo missile at 7:15 am (local time) on Wednesday, achieving a direct hit, and at the same time targeted a large infantry force in the Misgav Am settlement in Israel with missiles and artillery, achieving direct and accurate hits.
Hezbollah also announced that at 7:30 am (local time) on Wednesday, it targeted a gathering of Israeli forces and their artillery positions south of the settlement of Qiryat Shemona in Israel with a Salvo Missile, and achieved confirmed hits.
At 9:30 (local time) this morning, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of Israeli military in the Avivim settlement in Israel, and another gathering in the Avivim barracks, with two large Salvos missiles, as stated in its statements.
Sources in the south reported that Hezbollah carried out a tight ambush against a group of elite Israeli soldiers who were preparing to invade from Aadaysit Marjaayoun (Odaisseh) and Kfarkela, in the first attempt by Israeli forces to penetrate southern Lebanon since the Israeli forces announced, at midnight Monday-Tuesday, the start of a ground operation in southern Lebanon.
Sources confirmed that dozens of Israeli soldiers were injured and that their screams were heard everywhere, while Israeli media announced the death of only one Israeli soldier after he was seriously injured.
Israeli media reported that Hezbollah was firing massive firepower at the army forces, pointing to a violent exchange of fire between the Radwan Force and the Israeli Military on the border, coinciding with the ambush in which it occurred, indicating that “Hezbollah is trying to strike gatherings of Israeli Military.”
But Israeli media ignorantly pointed to an unusual and very difficult event in the north, which included “the evacuation of casualties from the border by at least 4 helicopters, and the launching of helicopters and tanks attacks in the area to cover the Israeli forces”, Wrote Al-Amydeen following the resistance’s confrontation with them.
Rambam Hospital in Haifa and Ziv Hospital in Safed reported a massive casualty event in the north, in parallel with Hezbollah’s heavy shelling of the border area in the north, according to Israeli media.
While the Hezbollah operations continue targeting the Israeli sites and settlements in the Palestinian territories, Israeli media confirmed the renewed sound of sirens in the settlements of Shtula in the Western Galilee, in Zar’it, Shomera, and Evan Menachem, and in Qiryat Shemona, and its surroundings.
At midnight on Monday-Tuesday, Hezbollah fighters targeted a force of Israeli military at the gate of the Shtula settlement with artillery shells, confirming that they had achieved direct hits.
Hezbollah also announced a qualitative operation in which it targeted the movements of the Israeli military in the orchards opposite the towns of Odaisseh and Kfarkela in Israel with appropriate weapons, and achieved confirmed casualties.
