Da Red Gobbo is returning to Warhammer 40,000 with a new ride for the festive season. Games Workshop has revealed Da Red Gobbo’s Squigmobile, a seasonal miniature that puts the character aboard a vehicle with his assistant riding in a sidecar.
The Games Workshop announcement, published on October 16, introduces the latest version of the returning holiday character. It is a new miniature reveal, not a reason to treat older Da Red Gobbo product listings as specifications or prices for this model.
Trade publication ICv2 reports that the Squigmobile carries a panicking assistant in its sidecar and that a companion holiday story, Da Red Gobbo’s Reckoning by Callum Davis, will be released alongside the miniature. That reporting does not establish that the book is included with the figure.
The distinction between annual releases matters here. Games Workshop’s October 19, 2025 preview featured Da Red Gobbo’s Tinboy, a mechanical figure resembling a Vostroyan soldier. That same preview also included Da Red Gobbo’s Last Stand by Andi Ewington. Neither is the newly revealed Squigmobile or Callum Davis’s new story.
For players, the miniature’s announcement and its use in organised games are separate questions. Our coverage of Warhammer 40,000 tournament rules explains the role of event documents. A festive product reveal should not, by itself, be read as confirmation that a model is eligible for every event or that an older version’s rules apply unchanged.
