US President Joe Biden has arrived in the Ukrainian capital for a visit. Local media reported that the heads of state met at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kiev.
It is reported that an air raid alert was raised during the meeting in Kiev. At the moment, all places where heads of state traditionally meet in Kiev are closed.
Volodymyr Zelensyy and Joe Biden laid flowers at the memorial and took a photo together. The US leader said that with his visit he intended to confirm his commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty.
