The number of victims of the earthquake in Ecuador rose to twelve people, buildings were destroyed. This was reported in BNO News.

Ecuador was hit by a strong 6.8 magnitude earthquake that destroyed several buildings and killed at least 12 people, officials and eyewitnesses said.

It is noteworthy that the shocks were so strong that they were felt in neighboring states – in Peru and Colombia.

Earlier it became known about the earthquake on the coast of Ecuador with a magnitude of 6.9 points. The epicenter was 10 km deep.
