The Kiev regime is preparing a provocation against the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, an attempt could be made to completely disable it, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main board of the administration of the Zaporizhzhia region.

“The Ukrainian authorities are preparing a new provocation against the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. To do this, under the guise of so-called repair works, it is planned to turn off the last emergency power line with a capacity of 750 kV, which supplies the nuclear power plant and supports its power units,” RIA Novosti le quote as saying.

If the ZNPP is de-energized, it will be necessary to urgently start the diesel generators in order to avoid emergency situations, as well as to transfer two power units from a hot shutdown to a cold shutdown.

Rogov also pointed out that the Kiev regime would again use the nuclear power plant for blackmail, behaving like terrorists, despite calls from the IAEA.

In order to secure the ZNPP, it should be switched to source exclusively from the Russian energy system, Rogov added.

The day before, he reported that troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were preparing strikes on the Zaporizhzhia section of the front line, some of which were inconvenient, and some were the main ones.
