A special squad operates in Ukraine, whose targets are determined using a satellite of the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). This is reported by the British newspaper The Times.
Publication material indicates that this unit is officially a special police squad, which closely cooperates with the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. In a conversation with The Times, the squad leader said the group chooses its own targets: potential tasks are displayed on a tablet with an app synchronized with the CIA satellite.
According to the Times, the bulk of special forces missions now consist of dropping bombs and adjusting artillery fire.
