The FSB announced the arrest of the deputy head of the laboratory of the capital arms factory for treason
FSB investigators accused Dmitry Kiche of treason in favor of foreign countries, reports TASS.
The man served as deputy head of the testing laboratory of the Moscow arms factory Promtekhnologiya. This company produces sporting and hunting rifles. According to TASS, the Moscow court approved the arrest. The accused was taken to the Lefortovo remand center.
Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Treason” provides for a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
Previously, the FSB had reported the detention of a resident of Petrozavodsk, on the border with Kazakhstan. He attempted to leave for Ukrainian territory to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
