“If necessary”: the Ministry of Defense of Belarus on the degree of readiness of sites for Topol complexes

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced the possibility of operational site readiness for the Topol complexes

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus said that, if necessary, the infrastructure of the facilities where the Topol mobile complexes were previously located will soon be ready for use.

The press service of the department reported that the staff is carrying out work on the improvement of the territory. The activities aim to maintain the infrastructures in good condition. If necessary, as pointed out, everything will be quickly prepared for use.

Units of the Strategic Missile Forces were previously based at these facilities. The legacy infrastructure was preserved and maintained by the Belarusian Defense Department for use.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, speaking about nuclear weapons, noted that almost all the sites at which Topol was in service were preserved in the republic.
