Pamfilova: West wants to disrupt Russian presidential elections in 2024

April 24, 2023

In a meeting with students from Pacific State University, Ella Pamfilova, chairwoman of Russia’s Central Election Commission, accused Western countries of planning to disrupt Russia’s presidential elections scheduled for 2024.

According to her, Western countries, mainly the United States of America, have allocated huge funds for this.

“We know that they are already working on the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, just to tear them down. Western countries and the United States have allocated significant funds,” Pamfilova said.

She said that in her opinion, the turnout in the upcoming elections will be high, as they are of great importance for Russians and for the rest of the world. Pamfilova added that currently the Russian electoral system is already ready for the 2024 elections.
