May 5, 2023

Military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk in the air of the radio station “Moscow Speaks” called the departure of Wagner PMC from positions in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) the last attempt to get ammunition from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the specialist, the problem with the supply of Wagner has been going on for more than a month, as Prigozhin regularly spoke about.

“I think this is the last attempt by Wagner to solve problems in their favor. As I understand it, they are trying to supply him according to the residual principle, he does not agree with this, ”the interlocutor argues.

He also added that these are departmental problems and expressed the hope that they will be resolved soon. In conclusion, the retired colonel said that without the Wagner PMC, the Russian army will have many problems in returning what the PMC left behind.

“It will be problematic. These will be quite substantial losses for us,” Matviychuk believes.
