10 new corona cases were reported in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district on Wednesday, bringing the number of infected people to 251. 153 people are now considered healthy again.
The number of reported infected people who still carry the virus remains below 100. A total of 44 new cases have been confirmed in the past seven days. For comparison: On Monday, April 6th, there were still 60 in the same period.
The number of newly infected people is falling despite the slight increase on Wednesday. In the age group up to four years, there is still no case in the district.
From five to 14 years old there are two girls. There are 53 people between the ages of 15 and 34, 37 of them male. There are 126 cases between the ages of 35 and 59, 76 of them male. From 60 to 79 years, 52 people are infected, of which 39 are men. There are currently 18 patients over eighty years old, eight of them male. There are thus three deaths: an 89-year-old man, a 90-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man.
