Relatives of deceased PMC “Wagner” fighter Alexander Tonkushin were outraged that none of the authorities came to the funeral. A 35-year-old man said goodbye on February 23 in Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk region, e1.ru reports.
– Against the backdrop of the President’s last two speeches, the authorities’ inaction is particularly cynical and unacceptable. Not a single state official came to say goodbye to the deceased to pay their respects to the state. A shame! Apparently, they need four days of vacation for personal rest, said Igor, a friend of the deceased.
Alexander Tolkushin joined the Wagner PMC in the fall of 2022. In December, he found himself in a special operations area. He died on January 16 in heavy fighting for Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . He was posthumously awarded three awards at once: the Order of Courage, the Medal “For Courage” and the Black Cross “For Blood and Courage”. This badge is awarded to distinguished soldiers of a private military company.

Earlier, the “Main Regional” reported that in the Urals the widow will hold competitions in memory of her husband, who died in the NWO zone.
