Belarus introduces visa-free regime for Polish citizens at all checkpoints with the European Union

March 1, 2023, 5:53 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – From Thursday, Poles will be allowed to cross the border between Belarus and the European Union through all existing checkpoints. The relevant information was released on Wednesday, March 1 by the Belarusian State Borders Committee.
Recall that in early February, the Polish government closed the Belarusian border crossing at Bobrovniki, after which Minsk condemned Warsaw.

As the ministry points out, such a decision will last until the end of this year.
“Given the high demand for Belarusian visa-free travel, the country’s leadership has decided to allow visa-free entry for Polish citizens to all Belarusian checkpoints on the border with the EU,” the publication reads. .

Previously, the Belarusian Ministry of Economy and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding. It is emphasized that the document includes the basic provisions of the agreements reached. Read more about this in the article from the public press service.
