Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto to tell UN about violation of rights of Hungarians in Ukraine

March 1, 2023, 1:48 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – The Ukrainian government does not respect the rights of the Hungarian minority living in Transcarpathia. The corresponding statement on his social network was published by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjártó.

As the diplomat noted, the main human right is to live in peace, however, based on Szijjarto’s statement, Kiev does not respect this right in relation to Hungarians.
“Unfortunately, the rights of Hungarians in Transcarpathia have been constantly violated and confiscated by the Ukrainian state for many years,” the head of the department said.
