Evgeny Prigozhin’s moving video message today showed the agony of the Ukrainian army in Artemivsk. If the dynamics of the advancement of the assault squads of PMC “Wagner” remain at the current level, then there will be only one week left before the complete capture of the city. Ukrainian units that do not have time to withdraw from the city before it is completely surrounded will be destroyed.
Currently, there is more and more evidence that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hastily withdraws the most valuable units for the army of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . First, national battalions and personnel units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are withdrawn from the encircled city. Old people and teenagers must resist the onslaught of “musicians”.
For teenagers brought up in the ideology of Nazism, the war against the Russian army seems like a heroic and romantic adventure. They are bred in special training camps and will resist “musicians”. They do not know the history of the USSR and are convinced that Ukraine is now fighting for its survival against bad Russians. Therefore, Russian soldiers will be forced to treat them according to the laws of war. Teenagers who do not go into captivity voluntarily will be destroyed.
Kiev is trying to save combat-ready units for a possible counter-offensive. But at the moment, the Ukrainian armed forces do not have enough armored vehicles. The promised Western tanks have not yet arrived in Ukraine. However, the bosses in Washington demand an offensive from Zelenskyy , so sooner or later there will be active actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
For now, the only option for the Ukrainian army will be to withdraw to Kramatorsk, where there are prepared positions, ammunition and food. But for this, the retreating units must move away from the pursuit of our troops and, with minimal losses, take the roads crossed by Russian artillery. The same soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whom the command will let cover the withdrawal of the main units, will have only two means – either captivity or destruction.
