Volkswagen Corporation recently introduced an updated Volkswagen ID.3 electric car. Despite the fact that the model survived the planned restyling, automakers perceive this set of improvements as a new generation. It was decided not to touch the architecture and the power supply. At the same time, the exterior received a number of features, and the interior received new materials and finishing technologies. Head optics with fresh graphics. All of this was packed into a muscular front bumper with pronounced cheekbones and a huge central air intake. The body profile remains the same. At the same time, the silhouette is different, thanks to the new pattern of alloy wheels. At the rear there is a new graphics of lights and a modified bumper. The body palette was completed with a new shade of Dark Olivine Green. The door cards have been redesigned with softer armrests. The chairs are upholstered in eco-friendly microfiber, made from recycled t-shirts and plastic. The touch screen of the multimedia complex, with updated graphics, has increased to 12.9 inches. The system has been updated and received new widgets. From now on, the automatic valet can memorize maneuvers. Atmospheric interior lighting now has 30 different glow options in its arsenal. The 0-100 is given to the electric car in 7.3 seconds, and the speed is limited to around 160 km/h. Depending on the version, the car is supposed to have two batteries. The autonomy of the first, with a capacity of 58 kWh, is equal to 426 kA, and the second to 77 kWh, 546 km. 5-80% battery charge can be recharged in 35 minutes. European sales of the electric sedan will start at the end of this year. The prices of the novelty are not yet known. The current version is offered for 44,000 euros, which is equivalent to 3,520,000 rubles. Naturally, the restyled version will add a little price.
