The multimedia guide is developed on the basis of a special digital platform
The Association of Museums of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug won the competitive selection among the exhibition projects of state and city museums for the creation of multimedia guides with augmented reality technology. This was announced by Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Natalia Sidorova.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation within the framework of the national project “Culture”, the winners were 80 exhibits, including the permanent exhibition “Ethnographic Complex”, located on the third floor of the Nenets Museum of local traditions.
The implementation of the project will allow the Museum Association to record audio guides in two languages for the exhibition with professional speakers, create 3D models of exhibits and other interactive features. The multimedia guide is developed on the basis of the digital platform Artifact, reports the government portal NAO. By installing the application, it will be possible to learn more about the history of the autonomous Nenets Okrug both when visiting the museum in person and behind the monitor screen anywhere in the world.
“The work has already started, and at this stage, for greater immersion, visitors to the museum can use the qar codes attached to the exhibits. Nevertheless, much remains to be done. I am sure that the scientific staff of our institution will succeed at the highest level. Once again, I congratulate the Association of Museums on this victory and wish them every success,” said Natalia Sidorova.
