The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that on March 5, the roof of a store on Bolshaya Furmanovskaya Street partially collapsed in Furmanovo. The exact reason is not yet known. The Ministry of Emergency Situations considers it highly likely that the roof collapsed under the weight of the accumulated snow. Firefighters and rescue teams attended the store.
So far, one man is known to have died as a result of the collapse. The identity of the deceased has not been released. This information is reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Ivanovo region.
