Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange index begins its trading, up by 0.77 percent

The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of today’s trading by 81.90 points, or 0.77 percent, to reach the level of 10703 points, compared to the closing of the last trading.

Data issued by the Stock Exchange indicated that the index increased, supported by all sectors, as the telecommunications sector increased by 2.72 percent, the real estate sector by 1.27 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.94 percent, the industries sector by 0.59 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.55 percent. And the insurance sector by 0.20 percent, and the transport sector by 0.01 percent.

At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 56.699 million riyals, distributed to 33,842 shares, with the implementation of 2201 transactions.
