Russia prepares visa facilitation agreements with six countries

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ivanov, in an interview with journalists, spoke about the ongoing work to simplify the visa regime with a number of countries.

According to him, this issue is currently being worked out with India, Syria and Indonesia and other states.

“In addition to India, the drafting of intergovernmental agreements providing for visa facilitation on a reciprocal basis is underway with Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines,” Ivanov said.
