His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, sent a written message to His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, pertaining to bilateral relations and means of supporting and developing them. The message was handed over by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Regional Affairs, during the Ugandan President’s reception to His Excellency today in Entebbe. At the beginning of the interview, HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to the President of the Republic of Uganda, and his wishes to the Ugandan people for further progress and development. For his part, the President of the Republic of Uganda conveyed his greetings to His Highness the Emir of Qatar, HE the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Regional Affairs, wishing him good health and happiness, and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to the latest developments in the region.
