Germany to draw conclusions after investigating attacks on Nord Stream

March 8, 2023

The German authorities will draw conclusions on the sabotage of the Russian gas pipelines Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 at the end of the investigation by the federal prosecutor’s office. German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock noted that Berlin is closely monitoring information from various sources.

Germany is closely following reports of attacks on Nord Stream and findings from various sources. An assessment of what is happening will only be given on the basis of an investigation completed by the competent authorities, Anadolu quotes Burbock.

The Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, previously commented on the latest foreign media publications about the Nord Stream explosion. The official representative of the Kremlin stressed that the materials that appeared were a coordinated stuffing in the information field.

New intelligence reviewed by US officials suggests a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, The New York Times wrote yesterday. Traces of explosives were found on a rented ship in Poland, reports the German newspaper Zeit.
