The First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin spoke about the amendments to the law “On Citizenship”. They involve the deprivation of Russian citizenship acquired for treason and discrediting the OSV.

The bill, passed in first reading almost a year ago, provided for the deprivation of nationality for crimes of a terrorist nature, serious crimes against the State, in the field of trafficking in narcotics and psychotropic substances , falsification of documents or at the voluntary request of a citizen. From now on, new provisions will be added to it.
