Al-Sailiya Sports Club announced the hiring of another coach to replace Mr. Sami Trabelsi, the coach of the first team, until the end of the current season 2022/2023, due to the current circumstances that the first football team is going through.
Al-Sailiya said – in a statement via Twitter – that it was agreed by mutual consent to appoint Mr. Sami Trabelsi as a technical advisor to the first team until the end of the current season 2022/2023.
Al-Sailiya management thanked Trabelsi for the achievements made during the previous period, especially from 2014 to 2021, as he made the team a strong personality that could compete with the big teams and win championships.
Where the team won the Ooredoo Cup Championship and the Qatar Football Association Cup for two consecutive years, and before that the team reached the third place in the league table arrangement, through which the team represented the State of Qatar in the Asian Supplement for the first time in its history, and also the team’s leadership reached the final of the Amir Cup.
