Shoigu was ordered to reward military girls who shot down two drones in Sevastopol

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu instructed to present to the state awards two girls – servicemen who repelled the drone attack in Sevastopol. He declared it to the College of the Ministry of Defense on March 22 transmits CASS.

Three drones attempted to attack objects in Sevastopol early Wednesday morning, all of which were shot down, Shoigu said. Two aircraft were destroyed by senior sailor of the contract service Marina Faleeva and chief foreman Tatyana Tseluiko, the minister said.

In addition to presenting state awards, Shoigu asked the girls to write a cash bonus.

The drone attack in Sevastopol on March 22 was reported by city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. According to him, the drones were trying to enter the bay. Russian sailors shot down vehicles with small arms, the air defense system also worked, Razvozhaev wrote on his Telegram channel.

The destruction of the drones caused explosions that shattered the glass of several buildings, but no one was injured, the governor said. Due to the attack, the movement of passenger shipping was suspended in the city.

Later Razvozhaev writing that after the drone attack on the radio in Sevastopol, false reports about the evacuation of Crimea using ferry crossings “and other nonsense” circulated.
