Jaipur: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra has given a call that just as the scope of assistance to the needy has been increased in the relief fund, similarly the scope of those who cooperate in it should also be increased. Mishra was addressing the meeting of the committee constituted for the collection and consultation of the Governor’s Relief Fund at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. He appealed that Bhamashah should come forward to contribute selflessly to this fund so that adequate funds could be made available for the wider purposes like immediate relief to the disaster affected farmers, punishment to the deprived poor children.
The Governor also launched the official website of the Governor’s Relief Fund. He thanked the donors and vice-chancellors of universities who contributed to this relief fund and appealed to private educational institutions to contribute more. He said that the ambit of the Governor’s Relief Fund has been expanded to include such needy people who are not eligible for assistance from anywhere else.
He said that there is no budgetary provision in the Governor’s Relief Fund and it runs entirely with the help of donors. Mishra said that the objective of this fund is not only to collect money but with the cooperation of all to connect with the needy common people of the state and remove their problems and problems. He said that now by digitally scanning the QR code in the Governor’s Relief Fund, the amount of cooperation can be directly deposited in the bank account.
