In the Stavropol Territory, a 20-year-old driver lost control, 5 injured

A 20-year-old resident of Blagodarnoye caused an accident in which he and four passengers were injured, the press service of the regional traffic police reported.

The accident happened on March 24 around 11 p.m. on the 18th kilometer of the Zhuravskoe-Grateful-Kucherla-Krasny Manych road. It is preliminary known that the driver of VAZ-21093 was driving at high speed and lost control. The car veered off the road, overturned and hit a tree.

As a result, the 20-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger were hospitalized. Three other girls, aged 16 and 17, who were in the car, are in intensive care.

According to the driver, the accident was caused by an animal that suddenly ran into the road.

According to the police, the young man’s driving experience is just over two years. During that time, he was prosecuted more than 30 times for breaking the rules, mostly for speeding. Now that the fact of the accident is verified, the youth inspectorate and the parents of the injured girls are also involved.
