India won the toss and put Australia to bat first

India’s stand-in captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to field in the first one-day international against Australia here on Friday. Regular captain Rohit Sharma is unable to play in this match due to family commitments.

India have included wrist spinner in the form of Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI. Ravindra Jadeja will play the role of the second spinner.

Australian opener David Warner is not fully fit yet and Mitchell Marsh will open the innings in his place.

Alex Carey is unwell and has been replaced by Josh English.
