Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, with heavy security from the Israeli occupation police, who dispersed the courtyards of the sanctuary of worshipers and seclusions, to secure the settlers’ incursions.

And the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported, quoting the Ministry of Awqaf, that large numbers of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the early hours of the morning, while those forces emptied Al-Aqsa of the Palestinians to secure the settlers’ incursions.

Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed a state of tension at dawn, especially after the occupation police forced those inside it to leave it. The occupation forces stormed the Al-Qibli Mosque and evacuated the worshipers in it, and prevented those who left it from returning to it. The forces intensified their military measures in the Old City of Jerusalem and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and confiscated the identity cards of young men who entered to perform the prayer to force them to leave the mosque after the prayer.

The occupation forces also arrested, at dawn today, three young men from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they stormed Al-Qibli Mosque.

For his part, Osama Qawasmi, a member of the Political Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, told the movement "to open"The Israeli occupation forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, expelling the worshipers by force, and arresting the worshipers portends dire consequences, and it is a sinful aggression against the Palestinian people and our sanctities in the blessed month of Ramadan.

Al-Qawasmi confirmed in a statement that this aggression is intended and planned as part of the series of daily attacks carried out by the government of the Israeli entity, which aims to export the internal crisis to detonate the situation. He called on the Palestinian people to observe i’tikaaf, bond and defend our Islamic and Christian sanctities in front of this brutal aggression, which provokes the feelings of all Muslims and free people in the world.
