“Protesters blocked the main entrance to Jerusalem…Three people were arrested during protests against judicial reform in Jerusalem,” media reports.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his intention to put judicial reform on hold during a meeting with the head of the Israeli government coalition. According to journalists, the main ideologue of the bill, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who realized that “there is no other choice” adheres to a similar position.
Netanyahu also called on protesters who took to the streets of Jerusalem to refrain from violence.
