The winners of the grant competition for the implementation of film projects have been announced in the Arctic

In the Murmansk region, the winners of a grant competition for the implementation of film projects and support for the Saami culture have been announced. Read more in the material “The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk”.

So, according to information from the regional Ministry of Information Policy, a meeting of the competition commission for the granting of subsidies by the governor of the Murmansk region for the implementation of youth film projects in 2023 s is held under the leadership of Deputy Governor Elena Diagileva.

It was learned that a total of 17 applications had been submitted by candidates between the ages of 20 and 34. After review, 13 works were allowed to participate.

Elena Dyagileva noted that last year the commission considered 5 works, this year there are already 13. As The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk has already said, the participants were guys from the Murmansk region, Moscow and from Saint Petersburg.

According to the deputy head of the region, the four brightest films will receive a grant of up to 500,000 rubles. Accordingly, about 2 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

Basically, the contestants presented short film projects, but there was a documentary among them.

According to the results of the meeting of the competition commission, the winners who will receive funding are: two authors from St. Petersburg: Anna Lychkina with the short film “52 hertz” and Alexei Belov with the story “When a sailor is on the shore”. The victory was also won by two residents of Murmansk – Vitaly Artemyev, who presented the project “Northern Hero”, and Kristina Borodina with the short film “Where to Hell” – the department said.

During the existence of the grant, six film projects have already been implemented.
