Nadezhda Tolokonnikova member of Pussy Riot has been placed on the wanted list under a criminal article. Russian Ministry of Interior classified her as a foreign agent in Russia. This follows from the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“Tolokonnikova Nadezhda Andreevna, born November 7, 1989. She is wanted under article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the department’s database said.
The agency did not specify the article under which Tolokonnikova is wanted.
A member of feminist punk band Pussy Riot was convicted for an action at the capital’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior in 2012. She was later released in an amnesty in December 2013.
Nadezhda Tolokonnikova is currently outside the Russian Federation. The Department of Justice placed her on the Foreign Agents Registry in December 2021.
The Russian Federation’s Interior Ministry places Pussy Riot member Tolokonnikova on the wanted list in a criminal act. According to a source, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova’s location can not be revealed and she is currently not inside the Russian Federation.
