Today, the Qatar Volleyball Association announced the schedule of the second division of the men’s general league scheduled for the period from the second to the nineteenth of next April, and the schedule of the Qatar Cup matches for the same season, which will be held from the 22nd to the 25th of the same month.

The competitions of the second section of the general league will be held in the group system in its first stage, which will witness the participation of the teams that ranked from the first to the eighth in the first section of the league, with the exclusion of the Al Shamal and Al Sadd teams for their ninth and tenth positions in the first section, which is led by Al Rayyan. As for the second stage of the second section, it will be played by the knockout system, and the 8 teams participating in the competition were divided into two groups, which included the first, Al-Rayyan, Al-Ahly, Al-Arabi, and Al-Gharrafa, while the second included Al-Shorta, Qatar, Al-Wakra and Al-Khor.

The matches of the second section will start on April 2, with two matches in the first group, bringing together Al-Ahly with Al-Arabi and Al-Rayyan with Al-Gharafa, while on the third of next month, Al-Khor will meet Al-Wakrah and Al-Shorta with Qatar in the second group. And in light of the results of the general league competitions, the teams participating in the Qatar Cup will be determined for the 2022-2023 season, which will witness the participation of the teams that ranked from first to fourth in the general league for men, and their matches will be combined in the semi-finals of the tournament, the winner of the league title with the fourth-place finisher, and the second With the third on April 22nd, the final will be held on the 25th of the same month.
