TRUMP GOES IN COURT NEXT WEEK Lawyer claims he won’t be handcuffed

October 3, 2025

Asked on ABC News how the trial is expected to go, Joe Tacopina said he’s sure prosecutors will try to squeeze every bit of publicity they can out of the matter, but added that they won’t handcuff the president.

–  They say that they will close the streets around the courthouse, close the courthouse – he added.

–  We’ll go in there… he’ll plead not guilty, we’ll start talking about filing a claim, which we’ll do immediately and very aggressively, regarding the legal viability of this case – he added.

The decision to indict former US President Donald Trump followed an investigation into whether Trump falsified business documents when he paid porn actress Stormy Daniels $130,000 through his lawyer to keep her from talking about their alleged affair.

Trump is the first US president to face criminal charges .

The Voice of America publishes what the protocol looks like after the indictment is filed – upon surrendering at the police station, fingerprints are taken, the accused is photographed and basic information is taken, after which the accused is detained for at least a few hours.
