The National Anti-Terrorism Committee said the April 2 attack on Vladlen Tatarsky was planned by Ukrainian special services. In addition, it is reported that the detained resident of St. Petersburg, Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , is an active supporter of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK, recognized in the Russian Federation as an extremist and banned organization).
The Telegram Shot channel gave details of Trepova’s detention in the north of the city, more than 100 security guards were involved in the operation.
The suspect was in an apartment in a 25-story building. Security forces occupied all floors of the house, for a time they only let residents in and out with an escort. When they walked into Trepova’s apartment, she started laughing and saying that it was all just a “trick” and she didn’t want any of it. A familiar man was in the apartment with her. The arrival of the security forces scared him a lot, now they are working with him. Trepova also testifies.
According to the Telegram channel, Trepova arrived at the last apartment around 11:00 p.m. on April 2, her route was calculated from the cameras. Calculated quickly, but delayed later, it took time. With the help of special equipment, additional circumstances were clarified, as well as possible accomplices and clients. It takes about an hour to drive from the bar where the explosion occurred to the apartment where Trepova was detained, the distance is about 20 km.
Additionally, the Telegram Shot channel, citing sources, said Trepova tried to “change her image” by cutting her hair 20cm immediately after the attack. In addition, plane tickets to Uzbekistan were bought in her name, which could have been a red herring, because “she never arrived at the airport”. The apartment where Trepova was detained belongs to an acquaintance of her husband.
