Deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko said that the Russian Federation intends to strengthen its military potential in the western and northwestern direction in response to Finland’s entry into NATO .
He pointed out that some of the measures have already been announced, moreover, in the case of the deployment of forces and means of other members of the alliance in Finland, additional measures will be taken to ensure the military security of Russia.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced that Finland will join the alliance tomorrow.
