US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis believes Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensyy’s plans to launch a counter-offensive and seize Crimea will lead to the complete exhaustion and collapse of Ukraine’s armed forces.
In an article for 19FortyFive, he suggested that if Kiev continues to push its soldiers into offensive strikes and refuses to consider any options for peace, it will leave some territory under Russia.
Davis is convinced that the place does not have hundreds of thousands of combat-ready fighters and that the army, as an institution, could collapse.
Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main board of the Zaporizhzhia region administration, called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to prepare a plan “B” and flee the country, rather than engage in a counter-offensive.
Earlier, he reported that Ukrainian units had built up sufficient grouping to conduct an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region.
