Punjab Kings on Wednesday included young all-rounder Gurnoor Singh Brar in the squad for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in place of injured Raj Angad Bawa. In a statement issued by the IPL, it has been said that Punjab Kings added Brar to their team for Rs 20 lakh.
Bawa, who played two matches for Punjab Kings last season, has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL due to a left shoulder injury. Brar is a left handed batsman.
He made his first-class debut for Punjab in December last year. The 22-year-old has so far featured in five first-class matches, scoring 107 runs and taking seven wickets.
