The Ukrainian army has prepared about forty thousand fighters of the assault brigade for the spring offensive, according to the European edition of Reuters, citing translator Alex. It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive is expected to begin in the coming weeks.

The Ukrainian translator Alex, quoted by Reuters, says that the grouping of the future offensive force is currently being trained on a military base in central Ukraine. A new assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “Steel Border” is being prepared on the territory of this military complex.

During a demonstration of the location of the brigade to foreign journalists, the translator expressed hope that its use would play a key role in the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine. Reuters gives the names of other brigades that are expected to take part in the upcoming offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, among them “Hurricane”, “Spartan”, “Chervona Kalina”, “Fury” and several others.

Earlier, the regional chief reported that a retired US Colonel Swift said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces counter-offensive should be decisive during the special operation.
