Ministry of Emergencies: Desna in Bryansk Trubchevsk will reach a dangerous level

The regional Emergency Situations Ministry warned of a difficult hydrological situation in the city of Troubchevsk, Bryansk region, against the backdrop of spring floods.

According to forecasts, a dangerous rise in the water level in the Desna is expected. From this morning until 8:00 p.m. on April 7, the river at the gauging station will rise to 409 centimeters. This phenomenon threatens the emergence of emergencies. Residential houses, family plots and roads may be under water.

Residents are invited to ensure safety: free basements of goods and food, seal doors and windows on lower floors, think about evacuating animals from flooded premises and walkways to approach home, and also make a list of documents, goods and things in case of evacuation in advance.
