The Kazakh Foreign Ministry has said the country will not allow its own territory to be used to circumvent Western sanctions. At the same time, the state does not plan to impose restrictions on the Russian Federation.

Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vasilenko informed that the country has not imposed sanctions against Russia since the first day of the conflict. At the same time, the state will not allow its territories to be used to circumvent economic restrictions.

“In addition to Europe, we also receive expensive goods, including washing machines, refrigerators and iPhones from countries that do not impose any sanctions against Russia,” Vasilenko said.

These products enter the Russian Federation through Kazakh entrepreneurs. According to the Deputy Foreign Minister, they see no legal obstacles to their actions.
