In response to a question from a Zvezda correspondent about whether there are concerns about the US deployment of nuclear weapons in Europe, Peskov replied: “It is.” He also added that Russia would react “appropriately”.

Earlier, Peskov said that the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus was not discussed at a meeting of the Supreme State Council (SSC) of the Union State. He struggled to answer if Russian and Belarusian leaders talked about it in a bilateral meeting on Wednesday.
